I'm not sure I want to subscribe to this list anymore. It is usually filled up with arguments about what is NPOV and what counts as vandalism and the difference between "movies" and "films", and it takes a half-hour a day to read through it all. If it's OK, I would like to contribute to Wikipedia (although usually uncontravercially) without being on this list. Is that OK, or should I stay here? I want to keep sysop powers so I can still edit the main page and move misplaced pages.
You know you can get the list in digest mode, right? Sounds perfect if you're reading it all at one time anyway. Go to http://www.wikipedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikien-l , enter your email address in the bottom box by the "edit options" button (you might have to do the address/password boxes above to get it to recognize you, then go back), go down to the list of radio buttons and click "Set Digest Mode" on. Hope that might help. I don't know just how "digested" digested is, I've never gotten it myself.
