Jayjg, see http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Arbitration_Committee_El... for why people believe "some 5 other editors" had good knowledge Durova was planning a block.
How many times does it have to be pointed out that in that comment, Durova does not say that she was discussing a block? What she says is that she discussed the investigation. At no time and in no place has Durova ever claimed that she discussed blocking !! before she actually did it.Theattempt to identify other editors who approved the block looks like it is not going to find any because there are none to find.
James Thurber once wrote a short story called "The Thirteen Clocks" in which the Cold Duke of Coffin Castle was wont to give suitors for his neice's hand the task of slaying the Thorny Boar of Borythorn. Wise old hands would point out that there was no Thorny Boar of Borythorn, which makes it hard. However, it was agreed that it was possible to hunt the Boar even if it did not exist.
