Ich bin also (euphemistisch gesagt)
nicht ganz auf dem Laufenden. Wenn ich
http://doodle.ch/participation.html?pollId=y7yy8ggxipe3fv93 richtig
interpretiere, hat die Gründungsversammlung des Vereins am 21. Dezember
Vielen Dank,
Florian Prischl

Hallo!
Congratulations on becoming an official Wikimedia chapter!
<http://wikimediafoundation.org/wiki/Resolution:Approval_of_Wikimedia_Austria>
Is someone available to write something up about Wikimedia Österreich
for <http://wikimediafoundation.org/wiki/Local_chapters>? You can use
the other chapters' paragraphs as a model and, if none of you have an
account, send it to me when you're done and I'll publish it for you.
:-)
Thanks! - Danke!

good day,
as the fundraiser was quite successful especially robin suggested to
follow up on wysiwyg (what you see is what you get) or wysiwym (what
you see is what you mean) editing for mediawikki more thoroughly, and
robin even volunteered to steer that effort more thouroghly, nando
offered his help in organizing some money if it should be necessary -
and from last years wikipedia day we know he is quite gifted for that
:)
we started a wiki page on the current state of the art at
http://wikimedia.ch/MediawikiWysiwyg, and also to collect some ideas.
one thing i could think of is a price of 10'000 up to 150'000 chf (up
to 100'000 eur) that could be paid to that one delivering some result.
we would be glad about any feedback, ideas, on the matter itself, on
whom we should contact, on who already did something in the area.
kr, rupert.

Dear colleague,
First of all we would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas Christmas
and the very best for 2008!
The 3rd ICT Call, objective 'Intelligent Content and Semantics' was
published on 4 December 2007 with a closing date of 8 April 2008. The
budget will be the same as for the first ICT Call (50 M euro). We
invite you to take a look at our information online
http://cordis.europa.eu/ist/kct/fp7_call_3.htm which gives you further
details on the scope of the call, individual research lines and
planned budget allocation, including excerpts from the Work Programme,
You will also find background information specific to this Call, a
presentation made by Mr Roberto Cencioni during the recent Information
Days, an overview of the results of Call 1 and brief project synopses
of those proposals which were successful under the first Call.
As mentioned above, Information Days were held in Luxembourg on the
12th and 13th of December. The aim of the event was to give potential
proposers information about Call 3. Over 300 people registered to
listen to key speakers present some of the successful results of
projects financed under FP6. Speakers from industry gave their views
on what it takes to have research results transformed into good
commercial products. There was also a first peek at some of the
projects which were chosen to receive financial support under the
first Call. And last but not least, a very popular Skills Marketplace
session took place where participants in the Information Days had the
chance to present themselves, their organisations and their skills.
We have put the presentations made by the individual speakers online
http://cordis.europa.eu/ist/kct/eventcall3-in-motion.htm, together
with the slides from the participants in the Skills Marketplace, and a
list of participants in the meeting.
If you intend to submit a proposal under the 3rd Call and would like
some initial feedback from Commission Staff, we are offering an
enquiry service where you can submit a brief outline of your proposal
and receive an answer from one of our Project Officers within a few
working days. More information on what the outline should contain and
how it should be presented can be found on
http://cordis.europa.eu/ist/kct/fp7_call_3.htm
We are also launching a public consultation with regard to future
research directions and priorities beyond 2008. We invite you to
contribute to the discussion and thus ultimately contribute to the
shaping of the Work Programme 2009-2010. The Work Programme will
drive ICT calls and operations in 2009-2010, with a total budget in
excess of 2 billion euro. You can make your contribution here
http://cordis.europa.eu/ist/kct/fp7-consultation.htm.
