Hi, I have been on this mailing list and once in a while read the posts. We are a group of Herirtage enthusiasts and have been involved in work related to it for past few years. The Idea is to start with Heritage information on Maharashtra first chapter being pune. I need help in getting started. Could someone please help here? We'd really appreciate it. Thank you in advance. Vaishali Gadgil

This is an excellent project! If there is anything that the English Wikipedia 1.0 team can do to help, please let us know.
If you are looking for a list of important Indian topics to check through, I'd propose using a slightly amended toolserver list sorted by points rather than importance, available here:

Good suggestion, Martin.
Question about this: is there a way to "hide" those articles that are already included in the selection? That is, is there a way to filter OUT those articles which are included in the Wikipedia for Schools selection? I am not sure if that database is integrated into this selection tool or not, but it could be helpful in parsing out which articles would be additive.

Dear Vaishali,
Pune has a small community of Wikipedians who are only too happy to help develop material on Heritage. I myself am a heritage enthusiast though my focus has been more on natural heritage to date. Please feel free to write to me off-list and I shall help you to make the necessary introductions so that you and your friends interested in heritage can make a meaningful contribution to "Pune".
Warm regards,
