Offline user group eligible to vote in the ASBS election

Dear all, The offline User Group is eligible to vote in the Affiliate-selected Board seats election <https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Affiliate-selected_Board_seats>. Anthere and I volunteered to be points of contact for the group this year, which means we will vote or abstain on behalf of the group this week. There is no standard process for voting across groups. Our brief proposed process: * Review the candidates (above) and email me and Anthere offlist (with ASBS in the subject) if you have a preference for or against any of the candidates, particularly from the perspective of our shared work. * If you think we should abstain from the vote instead, let us know. If we do not get sufficient input, we will cast a blank vote. * For the purposes of this vote, only active members of the group who are not participating in other affiliate votes should participate. [KIWIX] for iOS 1.9.6 released

[INFO] Release of Kiwix Hotspot 2.0

Hi Kiwix has been working since more than 5 years to make Wikipedia and other works easily available through an offline jailed WiFi Hotspot. The solution has been named over years "Kiwix Plug" or "Pibox installer 1.0" and now "Kiwix Hotspot". If the name has changed many times, the efforts have always been pointed to the same direction: make it always easier and quicker to create your offline library WiFi Hotspot. With Kiwix Hotspot 2.0, we have probably the easiest solution to get the job done. With a PC, a good connection to internet, you will need no effort to build your own customized offline library. Whatever your operating system (Windows/MacOS/Linux) is, even if you have no technical skills, you can in a few clicks create a ready-to-use micro SD card for your Raspberry-Pi.
