I think their safest bet would be to take an HTML/ZIM dump and then use one of the many tools like http://khtml2png.sourceforge.net/ to get a PNG or other image format, but it would be nice if some of you could give some better informed advice. What hardware are you missing? Unless it would require several TB, being a temporary thing you could ask a Labs instance http://labsconsole.wikimedia.org/ (or maybe Amazon is easier, if they pay for it).
