Hi everybody,
In topolocially interesting regions, the hillshades a very intersting feature:
- https://opentopomap.org/#marker=15/36.1/-112.1 https://opentopomap.org/#map=15/46.91801/7.45118
Are there layers for this features planned for the wikimedia too?
Regards Olivier

There's an existing ticket about hillshading: https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T153395. It's not in scope for the collaboration team work, and I see it as unlikely to happen in the 2018-2019 financial year with the resources maps will have.
There's also a ticket for adding topographic features in https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T153407, e.g. mountain peaks
We have hillshading since 2010, but not for all areas of the world. It would makes sense to render hillshading for more areas and to render areas where elevation data in a much higher resolution are now freely available. http://opendem.info/ can be a good starting point to find highres data.
