Federico, my appologies from not seeing it earlier. GeoHack (which is what uses maps from ruwiki), pulls templates and javascript from ruwiki, and uses it to show the map. Eventually I am hoping that we won't need to use this complicated approach, once Kartographer is implemented https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Kartographer For now, map tiles only work if requested from the *.wmflabs.org and *.wikivoyage.org domains.
