Afair ptolemy is pulling its updates from the hourly diffs. Maybe this is the time to switch to the minutely replication diffs. The two needed options have been documented in the meantime ([1] & [2]), the script still running happily on cassini can be found at [3]. Wouldn't this be the time to do another planet import so fix the changes that slipped through the hourly diffs and switch to minutely replication? The script to do this is located on [4].
I'd be happy to do this on ptolemy just as I did on cassini.
Peter

I'm keen to delete the hourly diffs as well. *Florian*, have you had a chance to move off these yet? http://planet.openstreetmap.org/hourly/

There might be another compelling reason why it wouldn't hurt to run a full reimport of the planet:

This improves handling of advanced multipolygons.
