Hi,
Following today's maintenance, the standard Toolserver compiler is now GCC. I have recompiled osm2pgsql under the OSM account with GCC; if there's any other compiled software around (especially C++) it probably needs to be recompiled as well.

Yes, I guess that would be the tirex backend manager [1] and the expire-tool [2]. I'm not sure which changes are needed to get them compiled, but afterwards the tirex backend manager needs to be restarted (stop-tirex; check-tirex)

I've recompiled both of these and restarted Tirex; does everything seem to be working?

River,
I've recently been working on getting osm2pgsql and dependencies compiled 64 bit on open solaris with gcc44.
I assume you are also running osm2pgsql 64 bit?
