When I try to write the translation of this wikibook https://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Sensory_Systems/Physiology_of_Pain into the Italian one (https://it.wikibooks.org/wiki/Sistemi_sensoriali/Fisiologia_del_Dolore), it gives me this error even though I did not upload or modify any previous image:
"Error: This action was found to be dangerous and therefore prevented based on automatic verification. Furthermore, in order to protect Wikibooks, your account and all associated IP addresses have been blocked and can no longer make changes. If you believe this is an error, please contact an administrator. This is a brief description of the rule that was violated: New users spamming NS: 0."
The Wikibook is made by my University Professor and he neither understands which problem can be and how to solve it.
Thank you in advance.

Could we have a tutorial on how to unsubscribe?
I am getting multiple users confused that are unable to unsubscribe by
themselves.
A couple of cases I processed today:
Subject: Please unsubscribe me from all of this I’ve tried and I can’t
"Please remove me from everything
Thank you 🙏"
"(...) I went to the link as provided for my unsubscription but was found
that no such email existed with an account. Yet I receive multiple such
emails. (...)"
And they aren't the first ones, either. The list does contain a link "
Unsubscribe:
https://lists.wikimedia.org/postorius/lists/daily-image-l.lists.wikimedia.o…"
(this is the best url that seem to be available in the postorious
interface), but the users seem to be misled by the fact that they have to
*create* an account so they can see their subscriptions (for which they
signed up in mailman2) and then finally unsubscribe.
The interface does say "If you have not previously logged in, you may need
to set up an account with the appropriate email address.", but that's
apparently not enough (and admittedly, is not intuitive). Users unable to
unsubscribe is as old as mailing lists, but the interesting point is that
they apparently try yet fail.
So perhaps we should make some content explicitely addressing how to
unsubscribe in mailman3, which could then be placed on
https://lists.wikimedia.org/unsubscribe for benefit of all lits.
Thoughts?
Hi all
In Wikimedia CH we have some lists on the WMF servers but at the moment we are lost about how to administer them.
We had a simple password to access to the console of administration while now this console looks to don't be actual.
Maybe the access is done using the login and password as user?

Hi,
I noticed that, when I subscribed new users to mailing lists, the other one first need to confirm the subscription. And second: that the newly subscribed users haven't been automatically been put on 'enabled' so that they receive the emails. That's annoying, as I assumed they would receive the new emails. Also: it's not possible anymore to see immediately which users are, and which aren't, on enabled/disabled. Is this intentional?

I'm still getting these messages despite not being able to do anything with them.
Is there anything that can be done?

Hi,
A few updates on the general issues related to bouncing:
1. We worked with Mailman developers to improve the bounce parsing so
it's less likely miss-process a bounce message. This might help in a few
cases where list owners were getting unsubscribed. This was deployed a
few hours ago. <https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T285120>
2. We're looking into enabling "verp probes". If an address hits the
bounce score, Mailman will send them a dedicated email, and if *that*
mail bounces, then they get unsubscribed. This will prevent getting
unsubscribed when spam/viruses go to the -owner address and are bounced.
<https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T285361>
3. We're discussing with upstream about just disabling bounce processing
of the -owner address altogether.
<https://gitlab.com/mailman/mailman/-/issues/912>
If you're still running into bouncing issues or other issues please let
us know and we'll look into them.
Thanks,

Hi all,
My subscription of one the mailing lists I'm subscribed to was disabled due to a bounce score. Afaics I was the only one. But there is nothing wrong with my email, and this was also the only mailing list I got this message. Right now I enabled it again, but two questions:
* Are the bounce settings perhaps not correct? Right now it is: bounce score treshold = 20, bounce info stale after = 7d, bounce disabled warnings interval = 7d, bounce disable warnings = 3
* In the previous version of mailman I could easily see a long list of all subscriptions and which email was enabled/not enabled etc. In this new version I don't see this. Is there a way to make this visible or is this simply not possible?
Thank you.
Trijnstel

exceeding the mailing list's bounce_score_threshold.
Hello listadmins,
This is a request for listadmin guru help.
I noticed this month that I get automated monthly reminders about the
wikimediahk list, but when I click on the link to manage the settings it
goes to a 404 error page. The mailing list itself has been unused for a few
years due to the abolition of the original Wikimedia Hong Kong.
I've been asked by the new Wikimedia User Group Hong Kong if they could
revive the mailing list (or start a new one). What's the best course of
action?
