Got the whole family on Barker Watch here. This morning Augie was flipping through the
Times at breakfast (and that sight alone was worth the print subscription rate and all the
unread papers that end up in recycling) and suddenly announced, "Hey, Michael Barker
is quoted in this article." And there he was, "an influential person in
Hollywood" saying kind, generous things about his host and the acceptance speeches.
Check out the NYT wrap on the Oscars today for a touch of Barker in your morning. Nice
way to start the day.
