Hi!
If we would like to disable anon edits on Wikivoyage in sv; what's the procedure? This was intended to be done when we were still Wikitravel, but got lost in the transitions.
Mattias
I believe a request on Bugzilla, with a link back to the relevant discussion, would be the proper way to do this.

Disable anon edits? What about just applying "pending changes" so that all edits by anons need to be reviewed before going live?

I'd like that too, and would love to see it applied.
The problem is that my experience of anon edits, gained on WT and WV (and only for the swedish version) since 2006, is that the anon edits in 9 cases out of 10 are useless and do not contribute to the content.

Fully disabling anonymous editing is not acceptable on Wikimedia projects and such a request will be turned down as it has been in the past. This is against our core values as a movement.

Yes agree with Snowolf. However if I remember correctly German has pending changes applied to all articles.

Quite possible. Enwiki also has article creation disabled for non autoconfirmed users (new users and IPs).

I think the key is to find a balance that is good for most people.

Right. OK - so, let's go for second best and have all edits marked with that clever little red exclamation mark.

Our first day after the official launch on ru.wv suggests we badly need them as well.
