Writing/Training skills (Boston, MA, USA)

I am seeking to hire a skilled MediaWiki user for a full-time position
in the Boston, MA area. You will need these talents:
- Outstanding written and spoken communication skills.
- Experience designing training materials for a technical audience.
- Software development experience for MediaWiki is a BIG plus. If not
a developer, you must at least have a thorough knowledge of how
software is developed, because you'll be writing about it.
The position is an interesting mixture of technical writing, training,
and software. The company (Vistaprint) is in excellent financial
health, has very competitive compensation and benefits, and is a fun
place to work! (I've been here 8 years.) I am the hiring manager, so
contact me directly if interested.

Sounds good. Someone sent me a message off-list asking where the
geonotices went; it'd be good if we got them up for all our monthly
meetups and not just one-off events.
I think we'd be able to reach a greater variety of people if we
sometimes held meetups on other days of the week. How would people
feel about moving the next meetup or the one after it to Saturday or
Sunday?
Jeremy Baron from WM NYC and Kat Walsh are in town this weekend (along
with other cool people) for yesterday's Libre Planet conference.
Come hang out with us tonight at Grendel's Den in Harvard Square -
9:30 to midnight. We will be a group of 25+ people taking up part of
the pub.

Reminder:
A passel of passionate wiki folks from many other wikis will be at the
Wentworth Institute of Technology today through Sunday for
RecentChangesCamp. It is a large unconference to discuss current
projects and ideas, organized by Nicole and Marc Laporte of TikiWiki.
Come say hello! We'll have community researchers Anne Goldenberg and
our own Joseph Reagle, the possibility of MikeU and Moulton engaged in
a wikiversity duel, and perhaps even some emu farming.

And we're returning to the Clover Food Lab for our regular meetup on Monday:

At the 10th birthday party, we were talking about getting in touch
with John Palfrey at Harvard's [law] library about working with some
special collections there. I offered to help out with this, and so did
someone else, but I don't remember who it was.
If that was you, would you please email me off list? Thanks!
Faithfully yours,
molly.
Dear all,
A reminder - for those who wanted more discussion about the Wikipedia
last week, we are meeting today at the Harvard Science Center, Rm 110.
Bring your questions, ideas and birthday wishes!
If you can't make it today (and I know many people are building igloos
instead), please note our next meetup: Feb 14, at the Clover Food Lab
in Harvard Square (7 Holyoke St). It's a collaborative community
restaurant; an enjoyable space for a meetup.[1]
Cheers,
SJ

Call if you get lost -- we are close to Lobby 7, a bit south along Mass Ave.
We moved upstairs to a nicer room in 5-231, which we have until 9pm.
There are signs on the original door with directions.
Toasts and celebration at 7:30
