Hello all! Advice on organizing a dashboard for multiple events

Hi Wikimedians, I’m creating a dashboard for an ongoing event and am wondering what the best way is to organize this. The ongoing event would be Wikipedia editing hosted by Boston University Libraries every few months or so. Would it be easiest for me to have the Libraries as the campaign, and each event have a dashboard? Or, just have an open-ended dashboard? I’m researching this but if anyone has experience or examples to share, they’d be appreciated. Thanks everyone. Dashboard v hashtags

Dear Boston Wikipedians, I’m considering creating a dashboard for our next BULibraries wikipedia event. Are there any advantages to using this instead of adding event hashtags to posts/edits? Information literacy and wikipedia

Hi all, It was a pleasure seeing everyone yesterday and meeting some of you for the first time. I’m leading a discussion group on information literacy and wikipedia and am looking for a few good articles for a general audience of library staff. For example: Oliver, J. T. (2015). One-shot Wikipedia: an edit-sprint toward information literacy. Reference Services Review, 43(1), 81–97. https://doi.org/10.1108/RSR-10-2014-0043 Seligman, A. I. (2013). Teaching Wikipedia without Apologies<http://quod.lib.umich.edu/d/dh/12230987.0001.001/1:6/--writing-history-in-t…>. Writing History in the Digital Age. Anyone have any suggestions to pass my way? JFK park borders Memorial Drive, which is closed on Sundays in summer to vehicular traffic, so it is a pleasant place to stroll, bicycle, etc. The closest T stop is Harvard Sq., a few blocks away. Scheduling the July Wiknic!

Dear all, It's that time of year again - the great American Wiknic! This year the main Wiknic dates are July 8-9. However, I've made a poll to see what dates are most popular - July 8 or 9 or the following weekend, July 15 or 16. It will be an afternoon picnic. Take the poll here: https://doodle.com/poll/v2vzzqyq4xvqpb8i We could go back to the Boston public garden, which was lovely, or the JFK park on the Cambridge side was suggested - better on Sunday when Mem Drive is closed. Art + Feminism @ MIT, March 11 2017

Art + Feminism is a global initiative made up of “students, librarians, professors, artists, art workers, and art lovers” who meaningfully enhance “the body of knowledge available about feminism and the arts on Wikipedia” (http://www.artandfeminism.org/). MIT libraries and community are a part of this project, and this year we are hosting an Art + Feminism Event on Saturday March 11, 2017, from 11am-4pm. Our theme focuses on the art of comics, graphic novels, and zines, but participants are welcome to work on any topic related to Art + Feminism. No experience editing Wikipedia is required -- we will offer Wikipedia training, and experienced Wikipedians will be on-hand for one-on-one help. The event will also feature hands-on creative activities, including zine making and basic cartooning. Everyone is welcome, and food will also be provided.
