But, have you looked at the standards? I don't see any tension at all
between making good textbooks and following the standards.
These groups don't particularly like books that
were formulaically
constructed around state standards.
If they're just opposed to the standards *period*, because they want a
Christ-centered curriculum or whatever, then they aren't really going
to be happy with our product, either.
But if the opposition is due to the generally lame ways that
mainstream texts write to the standards *and* to pander to various
pressure groups, then they will like our texts a lot, because they
will be NPOV.
