By means of official introduction to this list, my name is Jessie Wild and I am working with Global Development team here at the Wikimedia Foundation. Currently, I am helping to solidify an "Offline Strategy": conducting an assessment of (1) who would stand to benefit the most from offline versions of Wikipedia, (2) how to best get it distributed to those people, and (3) what that product could and should look like.

To that end, I wanted to direct your attention to the StrategyWiki which currently documents the research I am doing on the target market and the distribution options.
