Thanks for the pointer about OkaWix!
I've downloaded it and tried it with the Hebrew Wikipedia. Initial findings:
- excellent rendering, including directionality. - categories don't seem to work
I'm downloading the pictures now...
I note it's using Zeno files. Is it planned to use ZIM files in the future?

Also, the search functionality doesn't work: when typing a Hebrew word, a (correct) list of possible words is displayed, but when one of those is chosen (or just typed all the way), nothing is found in the results.

I have got the same problem as you, I never test the hebrew version.

For the category is not a problem we will add them if you want.

You could try our new build , the search engine is ok on hebrew.
