Max thanks for the demo, if it was exactly the same but instead of giving
the user an error and making them backspace you replaced or reformatted the
characters, but still showed the help message.

Registering such usernames is, as far as I know, currently blocked by the
AntiSpoof extension. (Administrators can bypass these restrictions if they
wish to.)
