Idea 3: Do it within MediaWiki. We use [[ImageMagick]]
for generating
thumbnails of images, but it can do many other things too, including
rotating images. It would certainly be possible to set up an interface
to do this. It would be one of the more resource intensive types of
requests though, so the devs might have something to say about such a
scheme.
My preference. Is there no such extension?
