Yes, but the other way around: you use the ISO format as the English
('en') format and that's at least misleading.
Also we should stay away from the dates in different formats again and
again. Using YYYY-MM-DD and nothing else in the template is good
enough. MySQL or glibc can convert the dates to the format the user
prefers.
