Dear Everyone (especially New Yorkers),
I have a pair of tickets, ORCHESTRA FRONT ROW CENTER, for the Bridge Project's production of Richard III with Kevin Spacey in the title role. The venue is the Brooklyn Academy of Music, and the tickets are for Wednesday, February 15th, at 7:30 p.m. This production is directed by Sam Mendes, who had previously directed Simon Russell Beale in the same role in an acclaimed RSC production (and, more famously, Mendes also directed Spacey in his Oscar-winning performance in American Beauty. It's an excellent production. I saw it previously and liked it, especially Spacey's appropriately hammy performance, and the reviews have been quite positive. The face value of the pair of tickets is $240, and, rather than selling them on Stub Hub, I've decided to donate them to a good cause: the Camp Shakespeare program that Doc is running every summer at Winedale. So, the tickets will be given to the first person who emails me at rpees@akingump.commailto:rpees@akingump.com and volunteers to make a contribution to Camp Shakespeare at the $500 level or greater.
Best, Bob

Dear Bob,
Thank you for this very generous idea! I hope someone will take advantage of this great opportunity (sadly, I won't be able to get to New York next week).
Best,
James

I saw this in London at the Old Vic with Winedale alum Johnny Meyer, they do some cool things with the production!

Thanks very much for this generous offer, Robert. I do hope that someone comes forth. We will need $14,000 to make our Camp Shakespeare '12 budget. And your ticket offer would initiate our funding effort. This is the 10th anniversary of Camp Shakespeare! Reunion day: Saturday, July 14.
Cheers,
Doc
