By the look of it, Nick had the happiest of lives. He brought with him to Winedale that
same sense of happiness. His death adds to grief I am still feeling from losing James.

I just read in Variety that Nick died. He was at Winedale ’76 and ’77. Surely the most
original Petruchio I’ve worked with or seen! Terrific risk-taker and genuine comedian.

Nick Wilkinson, veteran director of casting for theater and ABC Television, died on the
island of Kauai on Sept. 29. He was 69.
