Greetings to all!
Thanks Laura (and Jerald) for making these pictures available. Wow. Beyond the memories and the obvious noticings (lots of hair), I'm struck by the evident work going on! We were reading, exercising, building, practicing... This was learning at its best. If only workaday adult life afforded more opportunities for that kind of deep play, the sweat - struggle - laughter - magic that happened at Winedale.
I'm sorry I can't be there this summer for the reunion. The '05 reunion was a blast. Please know you will all be in my thoughts. And Doc, again and always, thank you.
Cheers, Phillip Glenn (Spring '75, Summer '76)

Hi everyone -- If I have mastered the Flickr share thing, here are the full set of negatives from 75 and 76 that I have carried around from attic to attic for the last 35 years. Many additions to the ones Jerald posted-- the memories evoked in our little mini 1975 reunion inspired me to go back through all the scratched up old negative files and add everything I have to the first set of negatives I put on disk. Go to this link: http://www.flickr.com/photos/lstraverso/sets/72157624458195374/ . Or paste it in your browser.. First 187 pictures are from Summer 75, Photos 188-271 are from Summer 76, and last 16 are from the Springs of 75 and 76.
I hope someone younger than me can figure out how to make photos, memories, writings, etc from all the Winedale years available in a single place. I'm too old -- this flickr and digital photo stuff is at the limits of my technological capabilities. (ie. Facebook scares me)
When I first looked through all my negatives (inspired by Jerald's early list-serve reminder that I might have photos), such wonderful, happy, touching memories came up. Went through them over and over by myself -- little tears, big laughs -- such incredible people, incredible times. And then when Jerald, Rob, Carol, Buddy and I looked at them together, the memories and feelings exploded (oh how we all miss Donald). Much like the spirit of WInedale, shared experience was way bigger than any individual one could ever be. .-- And finally when Jerald put that first "digitizing" on the web and many of you started writing in, the memories took over my available brain and heart space. Here's hoping this whole batch ignites more, and more years' photos start showing up.
Take care -- hope the link works!
Laura
