Anne, This may seem strange but since the day I began noticing my own birthday I've witnessed people all over the world celebrating my being born by dressing their children or dressing themselves in outlandish costumes (most of which seemed to echo my own obsessions with death, rot and the skeleton of Frida Kahlo); and then taking to the streets to beg sweets from their neighbors or strangers. Behavior that resonated deeply with my toddler imperatives. And yes, thank you. I will now strive to get the entire world on the side of GALLOween instead of the tired and wrung out HALLO one. This list serve is just the start! Thank you Doc, for getting that ball rolling!! Many more exclamation marks to come in the future!!!!!!! Love, The Dark Goof Mistress of GALLOween, who graciously acknowledges the many excited exhortations of my Winedalean buddies urging me to enjoy this one particular and uber significant day of the year. I will!. I am. Or should that be, " I do. I will." Ah, well. (Mike helped me come up with the title of D Goof M of Galloween. He is now a somewhat willing minion who shall be hitherto known as the Left Hand of Goof). PS I do hope I used that earlier semi colon semi properly. DGMofG
