Matney, how I love you! I wish I cared about being useful. Sadly, I don't. I just wanna play. With you and everyone. Although I also feel like both Bottom and Daffy Duck-- my greedy little heart still wants to play every single role. The Lion, too. Which is to say, I want that memory-- a week doing Shakespeare at Winedale, celebrating the 50 Years. For that matter, I want the memory of meeting up with some of you in Austin to plan and pre-celebrate. LoveTerry (in London soon to see the gender-fluid Henry IV Part 1 at the Globe).

Wouldn’t it be something to see each year represented in some way large or small. “Best of” scenes? A favorite song? (um, except that would be Barnacle Bill for ’86.) Half the fun is in the planning. Pleasure and action make the hours seem short! Madgie, please keep me posted, too, about a brainstorming session in Austin. I will drive down. I haven’t yet weighed in, but I have been thinking a lot about this and have loved the emails. First, count me in, in whatever capacity. I could not imagine being anywhere else. Second, I’d love to come to Austin for a planning meeting/weekend. It would be great to get together to bounce around ideas and brainstorm. When can we do that? I am enjoying the exchanges and hope to hear more. At this point, though, I’d like to know how many of you will plan to attend a 2020 probably mid-August reunion? There are a lot of folks on the list we have not heard from. So whether or not you want to perform but just revisit, reflect and relish, please let me hear from you. This is 50 years folks! And 20 years of Camp Shakespeare! I’ll likely not be attending the 2070 one so I’d love to see all of you again.
