Hi folks,
thanks to the WMF mobile team, http://en.m.wikivoyage.org/ and other language versions should work now. The automatic redirect (causing your phone to go the mobile site when you go to en.wikivoyage.org) isn't set up yet, but is in progress.
Note that MaxSem (one of our mobile team members) set up the mobile Main Page for English, but the community should improve further on this initial configuration, and the same needs to be done in other languages.
It's really easy to configure a Main Page in your language. Essentially, it's a matter of adding a selector ID in the right places of the wikitext of the Main Page. See:
https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Mobile_Projects/Mobile_Gateway#How_do_I_form...
(This is necessary because Main Pages typically are formatted for large screen sizes and can't easily be converted into a mobile view.)
All best, Erik
As an update to the mobile site launch, the automatic device redirect should now be working as well. That is, if you're accessing Wikivoyage e.g. on an Android phone, it should send you to the mobile site by default.
Let us know if this doesn't work for you.
Thanks, Erik

Throughout this speedy process, we've just gotten stuck with mediocre, conservative, risk-adverse stuff, and I personally lost interest. Will we be able to change the logo some day, with less strict time constraints? We switched logos on Wikitravel years into the project to something way better than what we had at the start (and way more original and cool than what's being considered for Wikivoyage).

From the perspective of the WMF: sure. We just refreshed the Wikipedia
one, a couple years back, and that was about the fifth one we have done.

Absolutely, it's not set in stone, but we wanted something fresh for our launch; personally I think it should be improved and updated every couple / few years. And the more actual WVers that chime in the better, it does feel a bit weird that such a prominent thing on our site was swayed by such a large number of people that are just learning about or getting interested in the site. But so it is. Hopefully all of those people will stick around and make the site awesome

Yes agree. A new logo now is not permanent. We can change it again in the future. This sort of discussion will hopefully bring in more long term contributors.

I rather like the current concept, though I don't care for the WMF color scheme on it. I agree we didn't get anything too avant-garde, or as perfect as Mark's WT logo, but it's hard to reinvent the wheel.
That said, we left submissions open for quite a while. If you had a better idea, there was probably time to develop it and put it forward.
