Since we've feed problems at the moment, I just tried to manually post the last 3-4 stories to Facebook using the template within {{publish}}.
The requisite text went up just fine, but the selection of an image didn't get propagated onto Facebook.
I'm aware there are a few other issues with feeds just now. What code is there we can throw into the mix to get this all resolved? I can spare a bit of time over the next couple of days, and can set up cron jobs on wikinewsie.org if this would help.
Using the social bookmarking template for this did bring up a point: image selection would probably best be done at publication-time. It would be easy to select a flag image where a better one appeared elsewhere in an article.

The RSS feed of our original Facebook page updates when it wants to. I am not sure how to replace it or it it can be replaced. I am not familiar enough with operating a facebook page to know how to fix it. I did what I could with it, which was to make the feed actually update. Sorry but i can't get it to go any quicker. I know I am missing something, but don't know what.
