As announced yesterday, I have set up http://uk.wikinews.org/ (Ukrainian) in accordance with the existing language policy and notified the interested participants. This is also the first time the optional additional process at http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/New_language_pre-launch has been used.

Related question: Should I continue announcing new Wikinews editions to foundation-l, or is it enough to post to wikinews-l? I don't want to spam the list with this. Coming up next is probably Italian.
