wikinewsie blog that we keep opinions on there and post ony news stories and
no opinion on the blogspot one. IMO if were going to be taken seriously as
a news provider by blog then we need to cut out the opinions which can now
be posted elsewhere. also i think that opinions on the wikinews reports
blog kinda goes against the community spirt thing because it's one persons
opinion and not everyones.

I am not a Wikinewsie by habit but I enjoy reading the updates on the
planet thing... and I totally agree, finding this total opinion
branded as "wikinews reports" was really inappropriate. Copying the
Wikinews article, which itself was balanced: yes, good idea. Using a
blog that's supposed to represent all of Wikinews for your personal
rant: bad idea, no matter what the topic or how pissed off you are.
You wouldn't put it on the main page, would you?
