I have mentioned to some supporters of this Cascadia Wikimedia group that a local nonprofit organization called Cascadia Now! might be a good partner organization in outreach. Among the reasons I have suggested this is that they share common mission, outreach scope, like-minded participants, similar size, and some goals with the Wikimedia community. http://www.cascadianow.org/

In past conversations they have been friendly about discussing partnerships.

I would like the kind of community engagement which they attract for the local Wikimedia community, and I wish that there could be some way for their supporters who are interested in Wikipedia to be able to join any Cascadia Wikimedia projects.
