Plus, every public bus in Seattle has a rack for three bikes on the front.
Carwise, Seattle has a real traffic problem around rush hours. The buses at least get to use HOV lanes & dedicated lanes when available.

I like train + bicycle for Portland <-> Seattle. You'd need to reserve a spot for your bicycle on the train, unless you have a folding bicycle.

Tues Aug 11 works for me.
Do folks recommend train or car for Portland<->Seattle day trip? I have
no
car so would have to rent one for the day if I drive, but that's easy enough to do.

Would the second Tuesday in August work?
Tentative agenda:
I am hoping that we can get a Wikimania report from Peaceray.
I also hope to be able to report on meetings with WMUK and Wikimedia Community Ireland regarding their experiences with growth strategies.
Brian and I have bank paperwork to sign.
We are scheduling a meeting with UW about plans for the upcoming
academic
year.
We also need to plan board elections for next year. At this time I'm not aware of any new candidates or anyone who wants to step down.
Please indicate if the 2nd Tuesday in August is ok, and if you need to participate remotely.
Thanks, Pine _______________________________________________ Wikimedia-Cascadia mailing list Wikimedia-Cascadia@lists.wikimedia.org https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikimedia-cascadia
