Well, As for translating GNU FDL, I think that it is not needed.. as after all the Arabic Wikipedia is under the Original GNU FDL not any translated version of it. A translation can be made to brief it in Arabic, but not a term-to-term translation, and legal text is not easy to be made.
Now as for the Copyrights page, I know it need to grow.. but the thing is no one read the existing short one :) if they did we wouldn't see copyright violation ! We have to admit that very few people read such Notices or disclaimers, just ask your self how many times you press "Next" when you install a program without reading what is in the dialog :)

Secondly, we don't seem to have a translation of the GFDL yet, so people might be confused about what they can add. (http://ar.wikipedia.org/wiki/GNU_FDL). It would be great if people could be encuraged to work on this. http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/copyleft.html#translationsGFDL has guidelines on translating. So far they link to the Wikipedia versions for Romanian and Welsh. It would be great to have them linking to our Arabic version as well. :)
I remember Isam asked me to translate something before but never received the document, would that be it? translating the FDL stuff?
