سبق أن طرحت تسائلًا في صفحة نقاش مقالة "إدارة الحقوق الرقمية" عن اعتراض أراه
منطقيًا طرح ريتشارد ستولمن، رئيس مؤسسة البرمجيات الحرة ومؤسس حركة البرمجيات
الحرة، في مؤتمر ويكيمانيا 2009.
يقول ريتشارد (وهو شخص يكن الكثير، الكثير من الإجلال للمصطلحات والتعبيرات لما يرى
لها من أثر على فهم الناس للقضايا) أن ويكيبيديا تختار أحيانًا المصطلحات الدعائية
التي تروج لأفكار تريدها الشركات الإنتاجية والتي تتعارض مع مصلحة المستخدمين. أرى
اعتراضه منطقي في جوانب عديدة، ويطرح تسائلا كبيرًا عن آلية اختيار أسماء المقالات
في ويكيبيديا.
