You have one more good idea? It is an interactive htm.
No I think I'm out of ideas. You could try copying the html code from the .htm file into the edit box. Wikipedia does support some html. However it does not support scripting ( Javascript, VBS) so I doubt it'll work.
You could also try contacting a developer to see if they can help you do what you want. Try User http://wikibooks.org/wiki/User_talk:Brion_VIBBER to see if he can help you.

This is a shameless advertisement for another open source project that I think would interest some people here.
Since my teachers haven't started assigning WikiTextbooks I wanted to at least buy and sell textbooks cheaper without the bookstore markup. I stumbled upon phpbookexchange: http://sourceforge.net/projects/bookexchange/ . Code for students to post the books they have for sale and the buy books from other students. From that code I made a few improvements and came up with: http://www.westernbookexchange.com/ It cost me about $30 to set up the site but I saved about $100 on my next semester of books.
Now I am working on an improved version at http://www.westernbookexchange.com/test/books It is easier to theme and it has many user improvements You can download the code from the sourceforge page but it still doesn't work so I posted my code at: http://www.westernbookexchange.com/phpBookEx.rar just change the variables in mysqlinfo.php and your ready to go. I hope this might help a few schools
