Fed up with war and occupation? Outraged by the lies? Upset by the greed and hate?

Then now is the time to take action! Help make August 29 – when the Republican Convention comes to town -- the biggest demonstration in the history of New York. Let’s show the world that we reject Bush's Agenda and we won't stand for more war, lies, greed and hate.

We only have eight short weeks to organize, mobilize, and spread the word to every community, neighborhood, constituency and organization. But as we have seen in the past, our anger and our convictions and our optimism can spread like wildfire so that people will be pouring into the streets on August 29, for the massive march and rally being organized by United for Peace and Justice.

So please join us at a mass mobilizing meeting on Tuesday, July 13 (postponed from July 6th) at 6:30 pm.

· Pick up fliers and stickers to distribute. · Join a working group to participate in the mobilization for the RNC, as well as to build the movement to fight the Bush Agenda this fall. · Get an update on our ongoing struggle for an August 29 march and rally permit · Sign up to volunteer!

The meeting will be held at the new UFPJ office, 209 W. 38th St., 9th Floor, between 7th and 8th Avenues. Note that, while phone service is being switched over, our temporary phone number is 646-723-0980. We will have our old number again beginning approximately July 15.
