Also I would like to change the page layout for some select pages, like the splash page opener for organic chemistry ( http://wikibooks.org/wiki/Organic_chemistry ). The repeat links at the top of the page just for these main book pages could be eliminated and the search box moved to the side. That would allow the page title to go top and center on the page and give viewers a better view of the page without scrolling down. What does anyone else think ?
I don't think it's strictly necessary to do that. The title pages are, at the moment designed in a similar way to an ordinary book cover page. But books are usually portrait. Monitors on the other hand are landscape. I think a redesign taking this into account would be better.
