Hi all,
I'm new to this mailing list so apologies if this is the wrong forum or venue to ask this kind of questions.
I am writting to inquire if fixing_redirects.py work on subpages. The reason is that I am not able to get < https://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?oldid=15777101#Wikimedia_Czech_Republ... done. It does not work either with -ref or -links.
I was told that maybe the script isn't working on subpages. I've used the script in the past, but that was some years ago and I don't remember if it did supported this kind of tasks before.
If you could please guide me here I'd appreciate it.
Best regards, M.

Hi Xqt,
I did, but without success. Hence the question.
The task has already been completed by other user using AWB regex replacements.
Best regards, MA

You wrote on wiki:
I'm trying to update links with pwb.py fixing_redirects -ns:0,4 (-ref|-links):"Wikimedia Czech Republic/en", but the script keeps failing.
Did you mean that you tried
pwb.py fixing_redirects -ns:0,4 -links:"Wikimedia Czech Republic/en" pwb.py fixing_redirects -ns:0,4 -ref:"Wikimedia Czech Republic/en"
and both failed? What error message did you get? Sharing a full copy of the error message usually helps.

Yes, exactly.

I'm sorry that I didn't posted it. And since I deleted the logs, I can't retrieve it either :-(
Sorry again.

Can't you reproduce the issue again?
If it is because you manually fixed the redirects, since redirects are not very user-visible, it may be worth creating some of them again just to reproduce the issue.
Otherwise, maybe you should forget about the issue until you ran into it again in the future (if ever), and then make sure that you include the output of the issue.
I would propose to use solve_disambiguation to change these links.
Anyway the script fixing_redirects works for subpages too. Thy to describe the failure a bit more.
