Happy Monday,
There are strange people who make such links (kindof urlencoded?):
[[Második világháború#Partrasz.C3.A1ll.C3.A1s Szic.C3.ADli.C3.A1ban
.28Huskey hadm.C5.B1velet.29|Huskey hadműveletben]]
So the section title must have been copied from the URL.
Do we have a ready tool to fix these?

Hello,
Does pywikibot in core have any script to remove links to deleted images
locally? Something like CommonsDelinker, but for local use.
I'm undertaking a major cleanup of files at Meta-Wiki, and I'm leaving a
lot of red links which I'd prefer a bot could process.
Thank you for your help.
Best regards, M.
Hi,
Is there any way to get the page coordinates when using
PreloadingGenerator? From reading the code it doesn't look like it,
but maybe I missed something.
Thanks,
Strainu
Hello,
So I'm in the process of a major cleanup of pages at Meta <
https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:MarcoAurelio/MCR>. My bot works with
OAuth since some time now via a consumer-only OAuth grant, which includes
all administrator permissions. I assigned the bot administrator rights for
testing, but the bot says it can't delete.
Do I have to add sysopnames ['meta']['meta'] = u'MABot' in user-config.py
again? Will that disrupt my OAuth keys?
Thanks.
I use replace.py blahblah foo bar > something.txt
something.txt will only contain some irrelevant lines, but the essential
information output by the script still comes to the screen (without
colours). That's what I need in a file. (Something is in the log, but that
one has a too complicated form with colour codes and everything that is in
my way.)

Hi,
I found this field on Phabricator, and googled it. The first match is
https://agilefaq.wordpress.com/2007/11/13/what-is-a-story-point/
After reading this, the question is: do we have any policy or any need or
wish about the usage of story points?

Hi,
movepages,py in compat has a bug when renaming files:
ERROR: {u'servedby': u'mw1235', u'error': {u'info': u'You do not have
permission to move files.', u'*': u'See https://hu.wikipedia.org/w/api.php
for
API usage', u'code': u'cantmovefile'}}
instead of asking for an admin account.
(Anyway, as far as it trickily does not allow to log in with my admin
account, it's *secko jedno*. But this is still a bug.)
Is it solved n core? Shell I post a bug for compat only or for both?

Hi All,
I'm new to Pywikibot (and Mediawiki as well). I've used the instructions on [0] to install pywikibot on my Windows laptop accessing a Linux server. All seems to be connected right (I'm successfully through step 9 and can login). The next step is to run add_text to change text on some pages. Here I get an error:
C:\Users\Owner\pywikibot>python pwb.py add_text.py -cat:Testing -text:"Testing the add_text script using the Pywikibot user." -except:"\{\{([Tt]emplate:|)[Dd]ocumentation [Ss]ubpage" -upTraceback (most recent call last): File "pwb.py", line 270, in <module> if not main(): File "pwb.py", line 264, in main run_python_file(filename, [filename] + args, argvu, file_package) File "pwb.py", line 109, in run_python_file main_mod.__dict__) File ".\scripts\add_text.py", line 358, in <module> main() File ".\scripts\add_text.py", line 338, in main genFactory.handleArg(arg) File "C:\Users\Owner\pywikibot\pywikibot\pagegenerators.py", line 589, in handleArg gen = self.getCategoryGen(arg, gen_func=CategorizedPageGenerator) File "C:\Users\Owner\pywikibot\pywikibot\pagegenerators.py", line 420, in getCategoryGen if prefix not in self.site.namespaces[14]: File "C:\Users\Owner\pywikibot\pywikibot\site.py", line 806, in namespaces self._namespaces = _NamespacesDict(self._build_namespaces()) File "C:\Users\Owner\pywikibot\pywikibot\site.py", line 2185, in _build_namespaces if item['*'] not in _namespaces[ns]:KeyError: 104<class 'KeyError'>CRITICAL: Waiting for 1 network thread(s) to finish. I've verified the Category name exists and is spelled correctly. Not sure what to try next to figure this out. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,Bud Loveall
P.S. Also, is there a way to search the archives of the mail list? I'm guessing this has been answered before.
