I'm not totally sure what's a known issue and what isn't. I also don't really know what stage of development this extension is in. I've filed https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T116353 in order to have a designated dumping ground for my design feedback. Others are more than welcome to comment there or split out tasks, of course.
