We need to come up with some sort of Press release for Wikibooks to encourage participation.
Senior citizens are the fastest growing segment of the Internet community (at least in the United States), and retirees have a lot of free time and a wealth of original knowledge.
This segment is probably better suited for helping to grow projects like Wikibooks, where first-hand knowledge is much more appreciated than at Wikipedia, which requires external sources.
