("Meaning" in the thread must be "opinion"; a Dutchism, "mening")
Thank for the support, Casey. I have changed the title to "Basic Wikipedia and help pages" and will make a list of pages, but I am not certain how competent I am for writing them (e.g. because of the terminology). A note on the talk page will be a good idea, if someone wants to attack the challenge.

One thing that I really like is your "creating a web" idea, that's a very nice way of looking at things. People say: "but I have no idea what to write about or where to start!" You're giving them a nice analogy with ideas.
One thing that you haven't done yet (but would be a good idea to do) is the list of help page: http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Ziko/The_Basic_Help_Pages. A recent thread on Foundation-l (the one I CC'ed you on) would be useful to see what others think are the necessary guidelines/help pages.
Anyone here willing to help compile a list of basic help pages or help Ziko otherwise?
