Hello.
Good news: the bot is working. Bad news: It seems as if I need to have a flagged account on all wikis according to bot rules :-(. So this will take some time to create accs on all 660 wikis :-p (and even more to let them get flagged -.-)
Regards, Marco

Maybe you can give the bot to some users with a webserver on their dial-in PCs, so they can use anonymous accounts ...

If you create a list of the wikis on which you need to create accounts, you could get some admins to help you. The admin signs up; you e-mail them your desired username, password and e-mail; and the admin removes the wiki from your list. All you'd need to do is confirm the e-mail address by clicking a link.
Would this be breaking any Foundation rules?
What about starting to make some noise to the foundation about the "unique account" they have been talking about since february?
Can't you just take over the already created User:CommonsDelinker accounts? Or just say, that for this to work each wiki has to create an account for you, and send you the password (as agreeing on a password publicly would not be safe).

Well, or noise to the developers since we're more a bottom-up organisation. Perhaps we should incentivise the implementation of single-login by building up a fund to go to the developers or the Foundation on completion? How would we organise such a fund? How would it be divided?
Single user login (SUL) is in the works... no really... and us making more or less noise at this stage will not be helpful. All we can do is sit tight and wait. YA RLY.

While the devs do wounderful things it is generaly best to find a solution that doesn't require their involvement.

Great! How do we use it? Or does it run automatically?

What about the discussions we had on Meta? http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Requests_for_permissions/CommonsDelinker

The software requires authorization (if I would run it for everyone I am sure vandals would abuse it). So, if you want to use it, emial me.

Tons of supporters, but no one made a decision. It would be time for doing one.
