Hi,
the CommonsHelper 2 needs for working meta data which describes the transfer rules and other project specified things.
I want to call for updating/creating this data: http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/CommonsHelper2 .
Our reference page is http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/CommonsHelper2/Data_en.wikipedia .
Thank you and best regards, Jan Luca

Are recursive categories allowed? For example, on it.wiki we recently put some effort so that all free images are under this category: http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Categoria:Immagini_con_licenza_libera , so that everyone can "easily" sort out free/non-free images (for dumps or whatever).

Hi,
at moment there is no option for "good" categories (the tool looks if there is a "good" template), you could add a "bad" category (e.g. which contains all non-free files)
Best regards, Jan

Just to confirm, are those categories checked recursively?

At moment: No. The Tool only checks if the given category, not a sub-category is on the page.
When this feature is needed I could set it on my ToDo list
Best regards, Jan
