Anyone know what's going on with the manufacturer in the metadata here: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Image:Anonymous_protest_SF_Gay_Pride_2008_003.jpg#metadata
Is this an issue with my camera or with the interface?
Windows says the make is "Panasonic". Flickr reads them fine too.
My only guess would be that the way the metadata is stamped, isn't liked by Mediawiki. -Jon

This page is ok from my machine. I have Firefox and the Commons interface is in French.
Hi people,
Which message you see depends on your interface language. The default version is located at [[MediaWiki:Exif-make-value]] and it depends on [[Template:Exif-make-value]]. This somehow stopped working. I changed the message and the template. It now seems to work again.
