I am writing to request access to the GWToolset. I am a librarian at Nashville Public Library in Nashville, Tennessee, USA. Myself and archivists from Metro Archives (http://nashvillearchives.org/) are hoping to batch upload Archives' photos to Wikimedia Commons. Here's my Wikipedia user page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Librariabryan; my library's GLAM page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:GLAM/Nashville_ Public_Library. I am a member of Tennessee Wikipedians User Group and have Commons-Beta and MetaWiki accounts.
Any help would me much appreciated.
Thanks, Bryan
Hi Bryan,
How complex/big is your dataset? In the past few years, a lot of communities have found it easier to upload with Pattypan: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Pattypan
I have outlined the strengths and weaknesses of different upload tools at: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Mass_Upload_Tools_for_Commons_--_Mar...

Sorry for the late response.
I think our dataset is relatively big. We were going to try to clean up data we had already created for ContentDM collections. Hopefully this won't just be a one time hand off. Nashville's Metro Archivist, is on board and willing is to donate anything copyright appropriate that Wikimedia thinks would be valuable (as staff time permits of course).
