Brianna Laugher (pfctdayelise) appears to be the far most active on this list.
I love this list. It's a wonderful hotpot of copyright, tech, and random ideas. It also seems to have toolserver devs on tap for my latest great theory. If anything I think people (besides me) should use it more.
Regarding this spam post. I think what happened is that guy gave his email account details to some dodgy service, and it posted invites to everyone in his contact list. That is not quite the same as being spammed. That guy is probably mortified now (if he realises what happened at least).
Anyway, in conclusion, one accidental spam does not a listmod emergency make. I suggest to worry about more important things. :)
