Yes Amgine, the steering committee circulated the paperwork for signing to register the charity with the Canadian government. We all signed it and it has been submitted.
I'm not sure what you mean about not being interested in implementing other people's decisions. However, if you would like to help out with the rest of us, you are free to forward me your contact information with you area of interest. I will do my best to find something in that area of interest for you to do.

Amgine, are you interested in volunteering to coordinate any of this?
The
fact is we are looking for people to help out. If anyone is interested
in
volunteering please send me a private email with your contact details
such
as phone number, name and email. We have set up a spreadsheet of interested volunteers that we are maintaining to help with future
projects.
We are making progress on the business component, but there is always
work
to do. In particular, if someone is interested in acting as a volunteer coordinator that would be a big help. In respect to meeting up, I'm not certain if anyone is working on pulling that together, if I recall it was sort of an ad hoc discussion at the time.
In respect to communication, there was an update posted on the meta page
for
the project. Here is the link for those of you who don't have it:
I am certainly willing to volunteer as a member of Wikimedia Canada, but I'm very unlikely to be interested in volunteering to implement other people's decisions. I assumed the steering committee included that kind of responsibility, which is why I did not volunteer for it.
I'd already noticed the single edit to the meta page stating the papers were being circulated prior to submission. I assume solely to the aforementioned steering committee?
Amgine
