Thanks Nemo
The $350,000 figure was substantially more than the $150,000 I heard when I asked last. Wow lawyers are expensive. Internet Brands should have paid for all of the expenses IMO but in the USA pushing for that is sort of like playing double or nothing.
I donated $10,000 to the WMF to help cover these costs. We managed to return a travel wiki back to being free and open. Thus many thanks to all involved.

awesome! My appreciation for your support in so many ways!
And as I write on Meta: ---- Just a thank you to all involved here, I read this information with high interest. Not that I had a certain need or use for it, just being curious, especially I was very much in favour in setting up Wikivoyage as a Wikimedia project. Hence I think I should know about the consequences my (among many others) support / request in this matter had. Thank you for Nemo and SJ coming up with these questions and Geoff and Garfield for responding promptly with relevant data and links. ----
I agree that it was totally worth it. But what should I claim, it wasn't my money that has been wasted^W spent. So I am grateful for all that has been done.
