This is great - thanks Juan!
I've a few questions: * What language will the presentations be in - will it be entirely in Czech, or will there be a number of languages represented? * Will it take place on one day, or over a few days? * When are you thinking of distributing a call for participation? (ie submissions, tracks, guidelines, etc.) * Will there be any funding available for travelling costs? * Will there be any way for people who cannot travel to Prague to participate?
When there's a bit more info, I'd encourage you to advertise this more widely within the Wikimedia community than this list. The Dutch chapter organised a conference on 'Wikimedia and education' last year - they might be able to give you some tips. Also, let me know if I can help in any way...
Cheers, Cormac

--presentations will be recived in English and Czech or just in English. We would like to find and interpreter, who would be able to translate to English
- Will it take place on one day, or over a few days?
--It will take a place one day, probably Saturday, but if there will be high interest, we might prolong it.
- When are you thinking of distributing a call for participation? (ie
submissions, tracks, guidelines, etc.)
--Begining of November or maybe earlier.
- Will there be any funding available for travelling costs?
--Well, I dont think so, that Wikimedia Czech Republic will be able to support this. We will offers some travel and accomodation help.
- Will there be any way for people who cannot travel to Prague to

--cant say now.

Anyway, thank you very much for your interest. Juan

The Dutch conference last year had an English 'track' - in parallel to several sessions in Dutch. This seemed to work well in appealing to both Dutch and international attendees.

So, to clarify, are you indicating that there will be no financial support, but that you will offer other help, such as advice..?

Oh, I just meant through lists like Foundation-l, and perhaps Textbook-l. There are also any number of lists and communities outside Wikimedia - it's common for organisers to post to a few, and to invite people on those lists to forward the CfP to lists that they themselves know - academic 'viral marketing' ;-).
